MIG recognized by the EU innovation radar as a “key innovator”

We are excited to announce the great news that MIG has been recognized as a “Key Innovator” by the European Commission's Innovation Radar for the innovative technology it provided for the EU-funded BuildHeat project.

As part of the EU research and innovation program Horizon 2020, BuildHeat tried to offer energy-efficient and affordable renovation solutions for residential buildings across Europe by using the best technologies from its 18 project partners. MIG's role in the project was to develop an innovative coating as part of an active facade system to improve the insulation performance of buildings.

The EU Innovation Radar is an initiative supported by the EU member states with the task of highlighting outstanding innovations in terms of their market maturity and their disruptive potential. It is based on information from independent experts who review ongoing research and innovation projects. Data on the technological novelties identified will be made available on the EU innovation radar platform to allow the public to have access to the excellent technological and scientific advances made by researchers and innovators across Europe.

The “Key Innovator” award shows that MIG's innovative strength has been recognized across Europe. This not only adds another laurel to our company's ability to innovate, it will also open up many market and cooperation opportunities for us.

MIG's contribution to the project will be available to the public from July 20, 2020 on the Innovationsrader platform (www.innoradar.eu) . Then don't forget to stop by and find out about us and other great EU-funded innovations!
