This year we proudly celebrate our 20th company anniversary!

On April 5, 2001, Dipl.-Chem. Ing. Burkhard Brandt and concrete engineer Wolfgang Bonder take MIG's trip to a small office in Paderborn, Germany. They built a company based on one core objective: developing innovative building additives to improve health and environmental sustainability .

Two decades after its founding, MIG has dedicated itself to fulfilling this goal and revolutionized the technologies for chromate reduction for cement and cement-based materials with tin (II) sulfate and later antimony (III) oxide in dust-free, granulated form. While MIG established itself as the market leader in the area of ​​chromium (VI) reduction, the company has also quickly developed into an international provider of high-quality coating solutions that offer people more comfort and at the same time minimize the impact on the environment.

Through customer and sustainability-oriented innovations for the integration of new materials, MIG is expanding its product range to address the challenges of buildings such as energy consumption, indoor air pollution, fire protection and the longevity of facades, with the aim of delivering sustainable, high-performance and future-proof buildings. Today MIG enjoys a growing global presence with strong partnerships in over 10 countries on 5 continents.
